Trick or Treat

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I wanted to pop in today and share one last Halloween card with you...
It features an adorable image from the Penny Black "Halloween Critters" stamp set- It's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The sentiment was included in the stamp set, the papers are from Teresa Collins- the Haunted Hallows collection and Vintage Photo DI was used for the distressing. The stars were made out of MS Crafter's Clay and a mold, painted them black and then covered them with black glitter... added the gems
and it's done!

For Someone Special

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!
This week it's Shell's turn to host the challenge and she would like to see our creations for... Someone Special at Christmas
I decided to make a Christmas card for my wonderful In-Laws! It features the beautiful On a Winter's Day image by Delicious Doodles... I printed the image in a sepia tone and then added a touch of glitter to the snow with the Wink of Stella pen. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug 5 x7 Winter Frolic folder, I used Walnut DI for the distressing and the sentiment is computer generated. The poinsettias were cut out with Spellbinder dies, spritzed with a little Perfect Pearls Mist and then I coated them with Rock Candy Distress Stickles... you can't see it very well in the photo- but this card is
so sparkly IRL! :)

Happy Fall

Good morning everyone!

This month over at House of Cards we have a super easy theme... Use your punches and/or Dies and this week the Fun & Cute team get to show off their creations!  
For my DT card I used the adorable Wheat Riley image from Riley and Company... It's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from K&Company & Bo Bunny. I used a $1 punch for the tiny leaves, a EK Sucsess punch for the corners and a MFT die for the Cornstalk. Paper pierced around the scallop... added the button and twine and there you have it!

Hot Stuff

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Creatalicious and this month we have a very easy 
theme... use the colors Orange and Green! I love this color combo! :)
Our sponsor is Sassy Studio and my card features the fabulous Skater Sassy image!  She's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot. The striped bg paper is from Recollections and the two orange panels were embossed with Darice's Brick Wall folder. Everything has been distressed with Spiced Marmalade DI, I used an EK Sucsess punch for the corners the flowers were created with the Elizabeth Flower 2 dies... to finish it up I added the orange gems.

Buzzin' By

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... R for Rectangle or Round...
 
My card features the fabulous Birdhouse-Beehive image from Bugaboo Stamps... it's colored with Copics, I used a blank ticket from Whimsy Stamps and stamped a Penny Black Sentiment inside. The paper is from Echo Park, Mustard Seed & Vintage Photo DI was used for the distressing and the little bow is made out of MS Crafter's Clay & a fondant mold. I used a MS punch for the tiny butterflies, a Fiskars daisy punch & small circle punch to create the flowers... added the gold sequins and it's done!

Doggone It

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!
This week it's Susan's turn to host the challenge and she chose a super fun theme...
Doggone it!
 ...she would like to see a dog or any other animal as the main feature!
 For my card, I used the adorable Heart Shaped Glasses image from the Miss Rach's collection- available at Whimsy Stamps...  this little pup is colored with Copics and the circle sentiment is from Hero Arts. The paper is from Bazzill, the lacy heart die is from Sizzix and the flowers are from Recollections. I distressed the doily and edges with Walnut Stain DI and to finish it up I added Glossy Accents to the heart shaped glasses! :)

Little Goth Girl

Happy Saturday everyone!

I'm popping in today to share a Halloween card that I made for one of my nieces! :)
This adorable Little Goth Girl is from Meljen's Desgins... she's colored with Copics, the sentiment was cut with an QuicKuts die and the papers are from Teresa Collins- the Haunted Hallows collection. I cut the button out of corrugated kraft cardstock with a MFT die and I used a Memory Box die for the spiders. I distressed all of the edges including the doily with Vintage Photo Distress ink and to finish it up I added Spiced Marmalade Distress ink
to the twine.

Scaredy Cat

Good morning everyone! 

I wanted to pop in today and share a Halloween card that I made...
It features an image from the Penny Black "Halloween Critters" stamp set... Isn't that cat adorable?!! It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment was cut with a Sizzix die. For the background I used the Stampendous Haunting stamp, stamped it with VersaMark ink and then dusted it with brown chalk. I used Memory Box dies for the Twiggy Tree, Country Fence & Ghost and a MS punch for the bat... added my faux stitching with a Bo Bunny stamp and there you have it!

Juicy Apple

Good morning everyone!
This month over at House of Cards we have a fabulous photo inspiration for you to 
work with...
and this week the Fun & Cute team get to show off their creations! 
My card features the adorable Betty Baked Pie image from Pink Cat Studio! She's colored with Copics and the sentiments are from Studio g. All three papers are from K&Company, I cut the fishtail flags with a MFT die and I used a Spellbinder die for the apple. To fancy up the candle jar- I cut out a tag with a QuicKuts die, added a tiny punched heart and then attached the tag to some hand dyed seam binding with a mini red safety pin... and there you have it!

Mummy's best Friend

Happy Friday everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share a Halloween card that I made with the fun "Mumeek" image from Stampendous... 
It's stamped (twice) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics... I wanted an extra image so I could 'pop' up a few of the elements. I used purple chalk ink (Studio g) to sponge in the clouds, the lamppost was cut with a Tim Holtz die and I used a MS punch for the bats. For the moon- I cut a small circle out with a nestie, embossed it with the CB Distressed Stripes folder and then added a touch of chalk (EK Sucsess Chalklet) to the embossing to make it stand out a little more! :)

Flower Power

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

It's time for a new challenge at Creatalicious and this month the theme is...
Flower Power!
Our fabulous sponsor is Meljen's Designs and my card features the adorable Little Girl Bear Hugs image!  She's colored with Copics, cut out with a circle nestie and then I added a touch of pink chalk ink around the edges. The sentiment is from C.C. Designs and the papers are from Heidi Grace & The Paper Studio. I sprayed the smaller flowers with Pink Bubble Gum Glimmer Mist and for the larger flowers I used Peacock Feathers Distress ink, paper pierced around the scallop... added the pearls and there you have it!

Love Birds

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... P for Pretty Petals
For my DT creation I made an Anniversary card featuring the sweet Bird Swing image from Wee Stamps! It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Spectrum Noirs markers and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom. I cut my image out with the Labels 17 Nesties then sponged around the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink, the paper is from The paper Studio. I hand dyed the seam binding & papers flowers with Spectrum Noir reinkers CG2 & BT4, spritzed them with a little Perfect Pearls Mist... added the teal gems and it's done!

Add Texture!

Good morning everyone!

 It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this week it's my turn to host the challenge and I chose the theme...

ADD TEXTURE!

Any type of texture will do- fabric, twine, lace, embossing, texture paste etc...

 And remember you don't have to make a card... your project can be anything at all, as long as you follow the theme! :)

I decided to make a 5 x 7 birthday card for my wonderful Father-in-Law and it features the adorable Fisher Moose image from Meljen's! It's colored with Copic, the sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from Authentique. For the background I used the Burlap stencil from Tim Holtz and some modeling paste, for the circles I used the Confetti stencil from Heidi Swapp, sponged in VersaMark ink and then embossed them with Aged Ivory Frantage. I cut the fish (CB die) and button (MFT die) out of corrugated kraft cardstock, distressed everything with Vintage Photo Distress ink and to finish it up I added a little raffia and a screw brad. Whew! A lot going on with this card but it was so fun to make and the best part is my FIL loved it!

Sweet Little Blossom

Hello everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share a birthday card that I made with this adorable Blossom image from Lili of the Valley... 
This little cutie is stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The sentiment is from TPC Studio and the papers are from MME & Kaiser Craft. I used Marianne dies for the bird & birdhouse, Spellbinder's Labels 18 for the image & sentiment and a EK Success punch for the photo corner. I distressed all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink... added a doily, a few tiny pearls and there you have it!

Stitches...

A Stitch in time!
So any type of stitching or anything to do with clocks... or both!
My card features the adorable Rosie with Cake image from Lili of the Valley... it's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The ticket & postage stamp (with matching dies) are from Whimsy Stamps and the paper is from MME. The fun little birthday cake is a die from Cottage Cutz and I used a MFT die for the photo corner. I added my faux stitching with the Bo Bunny Stitches Stamp set, I love this stamp set- it comes with 5 different stitches plus other stamps... perfect for our challenge today! :)
